In the middle of the organic garden you will find Food Circle – Sublime Comporta’s outdoor organic restaurant. This is a dynamic space, based on sustainable production and inspired by the principles of permaculture.

A Journey Through the Essence of Portuguese

Seated around the counter, there is only room for 14 people to savor this unforgettable experience – direct contact with the chefs and the earth, dining around the fire  surrounded by the sound of the crackling wood and the aromas of the grilled ingredients.

Cooking methods

Ancestral Only ancestral cooking methods are used and fire plays a leading role, leaving behind modern techniques and giving precedence to the land and history that is part of us. A wide variety of wine and other drinks is available at the restaurant

Chef Pedro Calhau

Chef Pedro Calhau is currently the Executive Chef of Food Circle.
At Food Circle, Chef Pedro Calhau seeks to serve more than a meal, but a unique and exclusive experience, sitting his visitors around the fire while preparing dinner in front of them. Ancestral cooking techniques such as fire and the slow cooking process are used in this restaurant.

It is advisable to arrive a bit earlier to fully enjoy the event.

Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Food Circle! Before proceeding with your reservation, please consider the following terms and conditions:

- For reservations made less than 24 hours in advance, please contact us via phone at +(351) 269 449 376 or email at foodcircle@sublimecomporta.pt.

- To secure your reservation, a fee per person will be charged at the time of booking; the amount of the fee, depends on the menu chosen by the guest.

- Reservation cancellations are only accepted up to 72 hours before the reservation date. For cancellations made within the last 72 hours of the experience, we will charge the deposit´s full amount.

- Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. However, we accept last-minute reservations based on the restaurant's availability.

- Children aged 12 and over are welcome, but we do not offer a special children's menu.

- VAT included at local taxes.

- Drinks not included on the prices listed above.

Allergies and Dietary Restrictions:

It is mandatory to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have at the time of booking.

- We have two menus at your disposal: 

Fire Menu - A journey trough Portugal with products, tradition and tecniques . "Garden, Sea and Land".

Earth Menu - A totally vegan menu, inspired by the garden that surrounds Food Circle, where the vegetables available dictate the seasonal dishes.
